Phalaenopsis Chienlung Little Orange

Phalaenopsis Chienlung Little Orange (Yaphon Lobpsis X Kuntrarti Rarashati ‘Bunker Hill’)

This is nice multiflora fragrant phalaenopsis with orange, art-shade color. Original hybrid was registered by Taio-Nan Liu (also known as Chienlung) in 2015.

I remake this hybrid in 2015. A few of these have bloomed in Taiwan. More of these are coming into bloom. At first glance, these appear to be very consistent. This is somewhat expected because Phalaenopsis lobbii is dominate in passing on its flower form and larger lip.

I was sent a photo from my remake that one of the flower looks more like the father ‘Bunker Hill’.

Phalaenopsis Sweet Memory ‘Bonnie Vasquez’

Phalaenopsis Sweet Memory ‘Bonnie Vasquez’ – found an old picture. This is my favorite cultivar of Phalaenopsis Sweet Memory. Petals are rounder and flower stays flat.

Phalaenopsis Imp’s Sparks ‘OK’

This is an old favorite of mine originated from Evergreen Hill Orchids. This cultivar is a selection from our friend Meir Moses of Orchid Konnection Orchids in Dallas Texas.

This particular plant is stem propagated from our friend Pat in Canada.

Flower has heavy wax substance that is long lasting.

Paphiopedilum rothschildianum

I am excited about flowering this seedling of Paphiopedilum rothschildianum ‘Atticus’ AM/AOS x rothschildianum ‘Frank Smith’ FCC/AOS

Originated from Krull Smith Orchids in Florida at Paphiopedilum Symposium on November 2013. Took me about 4 years to flower this seedling. I think it will perform better next time on a larger pot.
