Phalaenopsis Mituo Gold Coin is a newly registered hybrid by Peter Lin (2025), originally bred by Mituo Orchids. This cross between Phalaenopsis Mituo Gelb Eagle and Phalaenopsis Mituo Obsidian 'Neptune' draws from a rich genetic background, including seven species such as Phal. violacea, P. venosa, P. amboinensis, and P. bellina. These contribute to its bright color and distinctive fragrance.
This seed-grown Phalaenopsis is offered at mature size in a 2.5" pot. It’s a large, well-established plant with fragrant flower in a rich yellow hue, infused with red tones for added depth and warmth. The exact plant available is shown—photos taken on September 13, 2025.
